Description
In the shadowy twilight of the mystical sphere, the border between day and night, we find Ermiti, the serpentine guardian of the West. A figure sculpted from Jason Miller’s rich occult imaginings, Ermiti is a fusion of feminine allure and reptilian resilience, embodying the dichotomous nature of the setting sun.
She presents a visage of striking contrast. Her torso, as graceful and enigmatic as a woman’s, hints at the captivating allure of the twilight. Yet, her head and lower body bear the form of a serpent, a symbol of perpetual transformation and rebirth, reflecting the ceaseless cycle of the setting sun and rising moon.
Her hands are occupied; one holds a net, the weaver of connections and the catcher of dreams, while the other grasps a skull cup, brimming over with boiling blood, a stark emblem of life and the transformative power of sacrifice.
